Counselling for survivors of sexual assault (Batch 2)
Time & Location
About the Event
Sexual abuse, or sexual violence, describes any type of sexual activity that is unwanted. There are many different types of abuse, including those we’re more familiar with (such as rape & child sexual abuse) & those we may be less aware of (like female genital mutilation & sexual exploitation). Just the thought of counseling someone who has been sexually assaulted may be daunting for many counselors. This webinar has been designed for mental health professionals to get a better understanding of skills required for counselling victims of sexual abuse.
Workshop will be conducted by Psychologists at KCCW.
Date: 29th July ‘21
Time: 11am - 1pm
Fee: Rs 850 (excluding GST)
